On behalf of PSNM executive council, I am delighted to invite you at the 8th Annual Conference of the Pakistan Society of Nuclear Medicine, scheduled to take place at the Pearl Continental Hotel Rawalpindi, Pakistan from October 20th to 22nd, 2023. The conference theme for this year is "Nuclear Medicine in Pakistan - Generation Next."

The PSNM's Annual Conference is a prestigious gathering that brings together distinguished professionals, researchers, and practitioners in the field of Nuclear Medicine, both from within Pakistan and internationally. The primary goal of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, foster collaboration, and promote advancements in the field. This year's agenda will encompass a wide array of topics, with a special focus on the rapidly evolving landscape of Nuclear Medicine. We will delve into areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) in Nuclear Cardiology, Theranostics, Hybrid imaging, and radiopharmacy.

We have secured the participation of renowned experts in the field, including nuclear physicians, radiopharmacists, and nuclear cardiologists from around the world. They will share their extensive expertise, provide updates on recent developments, research breakthroughs, and advancements in Nuclear Medicine, Molecular Imaging, Theranostics, Radiopharmacy, Medical Physics, and Artificial Intelligence.

To enhance your learning experience, we are organizing three compelling pre-conference workshops on Nuclear Cardiology, PET-CT Imaging, and Radiopharmacy. These workshops will offer practical insights and knowledge from our esteemed experts.

This year's congress also introduces new initiatives, such as the "Saul Hertz Young Investigator Award," aimed at recognizing and encouraging young talents in the field of Nuclear Medicine.

In addition, we are strengthening our collaborations with the Chinese Society and Arab Society of Nuclear Medicine, and for the first time in Pakistan, we are honored to welcome the participation of the American College of Nuclear Medicine (ACNM).
